你知道為什麼鱷魚會哭嗎? 他們不是因為難過才哭的喔! 很久以前人們相信鱷魚們是因為要吸引獵物才哭的。而更有趣的是現在科學家發現鱷魚在進食的時候，淚腺會分泌淚水。所以，當有人在假哭，不是真的因為悲傷，我們就會說那是掉鱷魚眼淚。

Do you know why crocodiles cry? They don't cry because of sadness. Long ago, people believed that crocodiles cried to attract their prey. What is more interesting is that now scientists find out crocodiles’ lacrimal glands create tears when they eat. Therefore, when someone has a fake cry; not really being upset, we say that is “crying crocodile tears.”
