Carol: Natural disaster is truly horrible. There are floods and landslides caused by the typhoon, especially in the southern part of Taiwan.

Mom: What I saw in the news shocked me. I hope everything gets back to what it used to be very soon.

Dad: The power of natural disaster is sure to become more devastating than before due to the extreme weather. But I still believe people all over the world can do something for our planet, such as reducing the consumption of meat and using more public transportation instead of private vehicles.

Carol: Dad's got a point! As long as we continue working on the benefits to our environment, I believe we still have the chance to gain a balance between human and nature back.

爸爸: 由於極端天氣，自然災害的力量肯定會變得比以前更大。但我仍然相信，全世界的人們可以為我們的星球做點什麼，比如減少肉類消費，多加使用大眾運輸工具，而不是私人車輛。

Carol: 爸爸有道理！只要我們繼續致力於造福環境，我相信我們仍有機會在人與自然之間取得平衡。
