1. in the future (phr.) 在將來；在未來

Mia plans to be a pilot in the future.

2. vet (n.) 獸醫

The vet carefully examined the wound of the stray cat.

獸醫仔細地檢查了這隻流浪貓的傷口。

3. thoughtful (adj.) 體貼的

It's very thoughtful of John to help us in the heavy rain.

John在大雨中幫助我們真是非常體貼。

4. achieve one's goal (phr.) 達到某人的目標

Before you achieve your goal, you need to put a lot of efforts than you could expect.

5. attitude (n.) 態度

I didn't expect to see a change in attitude after the short talk we had yesterday.

Linda: Thank you so much, Dad.
